CALL OF THE SWAN
Sounds Market - Jeereen Lee
Just imagine yourself, walking with family and friends through the park. Air is nice, Sun is out, and every thing's O K with you and Life. The wind is coolly bouncing like a soft balloon against your cheek. You've been walking for a while, but who cares. No work tomorrow, dinner already cooked, and the whole day to spend enjoying the market scenes. Oh look over there, a clown playing with a bunch of kids, and the geese, wow, how beautiful they look. Feathers look like they've been cleaned by the Fuller Brush man. But, oh well, that's the way they were created. Don't get jealous, just accept it. Some people are like that; talented, smart, beautiful. Not a care in the world, or so it might appear. Sometimes I wonder if I am really better off just the way I am. No point in envying others, God knows what He's doing. Just like the perfect white coat of the geese, turn around and see a chimpanzy who looks like his face was smashed to the ground. I might cringe at the sight, but when you think about it, all is just a small part of God's eternal design. If everything was the same with everybody, oh how dull life would be.
So, getting back to this lovely day, no appointments to keep, just time to relax and enjoy my stroll through this marketplace. I decide to take contentment for what it is, exactly how it handed to me; a gift that only warrents a heart full of GRATITUDE.
